Tottenham Hotspur striker Robert Soldado has admitted that he is worried about his current dry-spell in front of goal, but he has reassured fans of the club that goals will start coming.

The Spaniard joined Spurs in the Summer after leaving Valencia for a fee of ÂŁ26million, but so far, he has only scored six goals in his 15 appearances, and five of those goals have come from the penalty spot.

Speaking in a recent interview, the striker admitted that he wasn’t good in form, but he is confident in his own ability that he will bounce back and start scoring.

“No. Definitely not. Much less. A lot of my goals have come from the penalty spot.

“I want to score more goals than I am doing at the moment. That is why they signed me. I have been doing it all my career,” he said.

“I haven’t done so far here, but I am convinced I will get there.”
