This bold claim has come just hours after the Reds were stunned at Selhurst Park by being outplayed by Crystal Palace and losing 3-1.
And with Rodgers starting to lose the faith of the fans and pundits such as Jamie Carragher starting to openly criticise the Liverpool boss, The Express have reported that the club’s board have looked at Jurgen Klopp as a replacement.
Klopp, who’s Dortmund side are struggling at the foot of the Bundesliga, has also been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal following comments he made about wanting to manage in the Premier League.
Should Liverpool decide to let Rodgers go though, it would be bold decision at this stage of the season, with the January transfer window coming up.
