Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi is being tipped for a £28m move to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Chelsea facing a fight for his services.
21-year-old Icardi was almost moved to England in the summer, but he turned down offers to stay and fight for his place at the club.
But, it does not appear he fits into the plans of manager Roberto Mancini, and a move could be back on the cards.
Speaking to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, former coach Jesus Hernandez tipped Icardi to be a star in England should a move happen.
He said: “If Icardi played in Spain or England, where he is likely to go, he would be a star.
“He will become one. He has the talent to be the new Ronaldo. You’ll see.”
Icardi joined Inter last year from Sampdoria, and has one cap for the Argentine national side, coming on as a substitute against Uruguay in a World Cup qualifier last year.
