Roma star Alisson has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid

The Spanish side prioritized signing a goalkeeper this summer

Alisson Becker joined Roma from Inter Milan in the summer of 2016, signing a 5 year contract. He  spent the majority of that season as understudy to Polish international Wojciech Szczęsny, managing to make only 15 appearances in all competitions.

It has been a meteoric rise for the Brazilian who did not play a single game in Serie A in the 2016-2017 campaign before taking over as the undisputed No.1 last term. He has been very impressive for the club domestically and in Europe, keeping 22 clean sheets in 49 games for the club in all competitions.

The Goalkeeper also helped his team to reach the Semi-finals of the Champions League and has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

The Brazil International has also been heavily linked with a summer with host of clubs chasing him including Real Madrid. The player recently told that he wants his future to be sorted before the World Cup as he is eager to avoid any distractions at Russia.

Despite winning the Champions League final against Liverpool last month, La Liga giants are expected to reinforce their side this summer after an underwhelming domestic campaign. The club could sell few players to accommodate new signings.

The La Liga giants have prioritized signing a goalkeeper as Kiko Casilla likely to leave the club and Keylor Navas will turn 32 next season. They have been linked to host of goalkeepers like David De Gea, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Thibaut Courtois ahead of the summer transfer window.

But now have turned their attention to the Brazilian keeper.

Alisson, a Liverpool target, has agreed to personal terms with Real Madrid, Gianluca Di Marzio claims.

The only thing missing now is an agreement between the clubs, with the Serie A giants having put an €80 million pricetag on him, while Madrid ready to make an offer of €60 million plus bonuses.
