Cristiano Ronaldo has stated the possibility that one day he would be open to a move to France in the future.

The Real Madrid winger was linked with French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint Germain just before he signed a new long term deal with Real, however, he dropped a hint to a French Television show that he one day would be open to a move to the French capital.

The recent Ballon Dor winner has been in some superb form for his side, as they sit third in the La Liga table.

Ronaldo was sent off in the 1-1 draw in the Basque Country in a feisty draw with Athletic Bilbao.

Madrid are now three points behind League leaders Atletico Madrid, and a point behind arch rivals Barcelona.

Ronaldo stated to French Television regarding his admiration for the French Champions.

Maybe one day I’ll be in France to live and to play. Or maybe not,” he told French programme Telefoot.

“France has always been welcoming to the Portuguese people. My mother worked there.

“It’s a country that I really love. All I can say about French fans is that they continue to support me.”

Adding yet more fuel to the fire Ronaldo admitted his admiration for PSG and their prospects this season.

“PSG will be a contender to win the Champions League. It’s a strong team and will be hard to beat,” he added. “They will be one of the favourites to win this competition.”

PSG would have the money if they ever wanted to land Ronaldo, who signed for Madrid for a then world record fee of ÂŁ80 million in the summer of 2009, from Manchester United.
