Chelsea youngster is unhappy with game-time at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea starlet Ruben Loftus-Cheek is eager to leave the club in January in order to play regular first-team football.

The midfielder doesn’t want to leave Stamford Bridge permanently, but he does want to secure a short-term loan away from the Premier League champions so that he can play on a weekly basis.

Loftus-Cheek was expected to break into the Blues‘ first-team this season after Jose Mourinho promised him regular first-team football, but that simply hasn’t been the case as he’s stuck with Nemanja Matic, Ramires and Cesc Fabregas for the majority of the campaign.

Chelsea’s Poor Start

Chelsea have struggled so far this season, losing seven out of their first 12 games, and although they are in poor form, Mourinho has still refused to give youngsters a chance.

According to reports, clubs in the Premier League and Championship are interested in taking Loftus-Cheek on loan for six-months, but Mourinho won’t allow the transfer to go through.
