Arsenal full back Bacary Sagna is set to snub a third offered contract by the club, in order to see a pay rise come his way.
The Gunners right back is out of contract at the end of the current season, and has been linked with moves away from the Emirates.
He can now start talking to other clubs over a bosman transfer in what would be a coup for many of the top clubs in Europe.
French Ligue 1 sides Paris Saint Germain and AS Monaco have been linked with the full back.
The French international has been a key player in Arsenal’s superb current campaign to date, ad Wenger would hate to lose the defender.
He has already snubbed two lucrative £60,000 deals and may leave in the summer, and currently is holding out for a deal.
Similar to London rivals Chelsea, the Gunners have been reluctent to offer long term deals to players over the age of 30, with Manchester City pursuing the full back.
Sagna is said to be ‘deeply upset’ by the fact the Gunners have not furnished him with improved terms during that period, despite the fact he has established himself as one of the best full-backs in England.
The braided haired player has been at the club since 2008, impressing over that period.
