Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has urged fellow Spaniard Cesc Fabregas to reject every offer that comes in for him, so that he can return to the Emirates Stadium.

The former-Gunner looks set for an exit from his boyhood club FC Barcelona for the second time in his career, and after telling the club he wants to leave and return to England, five of the biggest names in the Premier League are all showing interest.

Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been linked with the 27-year-old, but in recent days, City have ruled themselves out of the race, leaving just four.

According to some reports in Spain, Jose Mourinho’s side are favourites to land the Spaniard, despite all the clauses in his contract paving the way for Arsenal as they have first refusal and would get a percentage of the transfer fee if he goes elsewhere.

With rumours and speculation at a high, Cazorla was asked about his countrymen’s future, and he admitted that he wants him to reject Chelsea and come back to The Gunners.

‘I have read that Cesc could go to Chelsea but I prefer that he comes to Arsenal,’ he said in a press conference ahead of Saturday’s friendly with El Salvador.

‘He has given a lot to the club and he knows it well.

‘I hope that he is happy, he chooses his club well and is comfortable there.

‘I don’t see any differences between his performances in the Premiership and with Barca. His record is spectacular at Barcelona and he has demonstrated that he has adapted but they haven’t given him the same value as in England.’
