Fabregas Would ‘Suit’ Chelsea

Chelsea are reportedly eyeing Cesc Fabregas as a replacement for the recently departed Frank Lampard. According to some experts, the Spanish international would be a perfect fit for Jose Mourinho’s squad. According to some reports, Chelsea’s interest in the 27-year-old is very real, and it is now clear that Arsenal have rejected any interest in re-signing the Spaniard.

Fabregas will be looked upon as a successer to Lampard’s spot in the Chelsea side, but not an actual replacement. The Spanish international plays a different style of the game to Frank Lampard; instead the 27-year-old’s game revolves around his exceptional passing and vision ability. He’s not quite the athlete of Frank Lampard, but he’s more about understanding the game.

This is why he is very successful when asked to play as a false 9 for Spain. His introduction to Chelsea would spark a more creative game into Jose Mourinho’s side.
