Maurizio Sarri has said that he wants Callum Hudson-Odoi to stay put at Chelsea.
The young winger has attracted attention from Bayern Munich and might make a move to the German Outfit.
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has urged Callum Hudson-Odoi to stay at Chelsea amidst exit talks. The young winger has been red hot on the radar of German giants Bayern Munich and might be on his way out of the west London club, where he has spent a lot of time on the bench. The Italian gaffer has also compared Hudson-Odoi with the likes of Pedro and Willian and has said that the winger belongs to the same level as them.
Sarri said, “He is ready I think [to play in the bigger games]. Of course, we have very important players in the same position. I can play with only two wingers. But now he is ready. Of course, some times he will be on the bench but the same as Willian and Pedro. I can start to consider him on the same level.”
When asked whether Hudson-Odoi has a future at Chelsea, Sarri said, “I think that he has a very great future here in England with the national team and with Chelsea. To stay here is better for him.”
