Mark Schwarzer made his Champions League debute tonight for Chelsea at the age of 41 years and 66 days. Schwarzer joined the blues on free agent after leaving Fulham. The Australian international has had previous european football history with Middlesborough & Fulham. Whilst at Craven cottage he made the Europa league final.
The 41 year old had recently retired from international football after breaking the cap record of Australia when he made 109 caps.
