Former Arsenal and Dutch International Forward Robin Van Persie is reportedly being linked with a move back to the Emirates
Once hailed a hero, scoring 132 goals during his spell with the Gunners and becoming Arsenal’s 8th all time goalscorer, Robin Van Persie was eventually labelled a ‘Traitor’, ‘Judas’ by a majority of the fans.
Robin, now 32, upset fans back in 2012 when instead of signing a new deal at Arsenal, just like everyone thought he would, he instead decided to make the move to Old Trafford and join Manchester United.
Now, reports are emerging that Van Persie is keen to make a move back to the Premier League once again, and as he has dropped form at current club Fenerbahçe S.K, it seems the Dutch International is looking to return to Arsene Wengers side.
Whether the club and the fans for that matter, welcome him with open arms is remained to be seen.
But if Twitter is anything to go by it’s not looking good for the Flying Dutchman:
Since when do Arsenal fan’s want Robin Van Persie to return? No thanks. #AFC

I’d rather pull my own teeth out than see Van Persie in an Arsenal shirt again!
