Southampton are now the shock favourites to sign Porto attacking midfielder Juan Quintero, under the noses of Arsenal and Manchester United.
Reports from Spain claim the Colombian is Ronald Koeman’s number one target in this transfer window, with the Saints lining up an incredible £32 million bid.
With Sadio Mane off to the Africa Cup of Nations, the south coast club have already bought in Dutchman Eljero Elia in from Werder Bremen on loan.
Quintero has been linked with Arsenal and United in the past, with the Gunners reportedly coming close to signing the 21 year old this summer.
However, Porto won’t sell unless a club meets Quintero’s £32 million release clause.
