Swansea 0-3 Tottenham: Mauricio Pochettino’s side cruise into second successive FA Cup semi-final.

Tottenham remained on course for a first FA Cup success since 1991 following a dominant 3-0 quarter-final victory over Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

In the absence of the injured Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen in the 11th minute and Erik Lamela at the end of first half sent Spurs on their way with superb long-range strikes.

Eriksen extended Spurs’ advantage in the 62nd minute after some poor defending from Carlos Carvalhal’s side, whose focus will now switch back to Premier League survival after the upcoming international break.

For Spurs, who are the first name into the hat for Sunday’s semi-final draw, they reach the last four for the second successive season for the first time in 36 years as Mauricio Pochettino looks to win his first trophy as Tottenham manager.

Tottenham have reached the FA Cup semi-finals in consecutive seasons for the first time since the 1980-81 and 1981-82 campaigns, when they won the competition both times.

Tottenham are next in action on on April 1st against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
