Luis Suarez could face a ban of up to two years from the professional game, if FIFA takes even more action on the Uruguay striker.
Suarez, aged 27 walked to the team Bus laughing and smiling following Uruguay’s 1-0 win over Italy, a result whih put the South Americans through.
The striker looked to have bit defender Chiellini during the game, which sparked a reaction from the Italians.
Vice President of FIFA, Jim Boyce stated that FIFA will take action over Suarez.
“There is no doubt that Fifa must take this incident very seriously and take whatever action is deemed necessary. Luis Suarez is a fantastic footballer but once again his actions have left him open to severe criticism.”
Suarez has been involved in two previous incidents, biting a PSV player whilst playing for Dutch side Ajax in the November of 2010, before biting Bransilav Ivanovic of Chelsea, during a Premier League match in the April of last year, whilst playing for Liverpool.
