Luis Suarez is on the verge of being sacked by several of his sponsors, following Tuesday’s biting incident.

The Uruguay striker, who bit Italian defender Girgio Chiellini has been banned for four months from all of professional football.

And this has led to many of his sponsors looking to withdraw their deals with the Liverpool forward.

Suarez, boot company, Adidas are looking into the situation, and are, according to the Daily Mail, set to hold several meetings with the players representatives.

Adidas UK manager Simon Chadwick stated that Suarez was testing their “limits”.

“FIFA can confirm that disciplinary proceedings have been opened against the player Luis Suarez of Uruguay,” Chadwick continued. “The FIFA Disciplinary Committee is responsible for sanctioning serious infringements which have escaped the match officials’ attention.”

Chadwick said Adidas will again come under pressure to act as a “moral arbiter” and end its association with him.

“Adidas is aware of the issue involving Luis Suarez,” the ÂŁ22 billion sporting goods maker based in Herzogenaurach, Germany, said in a statement. “We await FIFA’s full investigation into this matter and will respond accordingly.”

Liverpool are also looking into the prospect of being able to sue the 27 year old, with 888 poker set to end their deal.

Suarez also has deals back home in Uruguay, with a Television broadcaster, and McDonalds, as well as the striker having a deal with sports brand Warrior, who also make Liverpool’s strips.
