Chelsea skipper, John Terry, has ended speculation about his future, by reportedly signing a one-year contract extension at Chelsea.

The defender is out of contract in the summer, fueling speculation that he was set to leave the club and move on. The player has been ever present in Mourinho’s side this season, and has displayed some magnificent performances.

Terry’s future has been in doubt for some weeks, with the club seemingly in no rush to tie the player down.

However, it seems that the club have left it til after the final game to make Terry the best payed defender in the premier league.

Team-mates, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard, are still yet to sign an extension at the club, but reports suggest that a deal for Lampard is almost complete.
