Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a bid for Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in the summer, according to reports from Spain.
The Belgian shot stopper is now linked with a move to the Bernabeu, despite Real’s continued attempts to sign David De Gea from Manchester United.
Courtois has taken the number one ‘keeper position from Petr Cech at Stamford Bridge, since returning from successful loan spells at Real’s city rivals Atletico.
With Iker Casillas reaching the end of his career, Carlo Ancelotti is looking to bring in a long term replacement in net, something that Courtois and De Gea fit.
Chelsea maybe willing to sell Courtois, if Madrid’s Raphael Varane would be included in a potential swap deal.
