Thibaut Courtois set for start against Burnley

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly made Thibaut Courtois his number-one for the new season, ahead of veteran, Petr Cech.

The Blues boss has been weighing up who to make his new first-team goalkeeper all Summer, and it seems that the Belgium international has won the race to be the main starter at Stamford Bridge.

Courtois has spent the last three seasons out on loan in Spain with Atletico Madrid, but after a standard season in La Liga, it looks like he has finally impressed Mourinho enough to keep him in London, sparking rumours that Cech could be set to leave the club.

Both goalkeepers have been considering their futures at the club, with neither of them keen to stay as back-up, but it looks like it will be Courtois staying, and Cech moving on, with mega European sides interested in the 32-year-old.
