Starting the list at number 10 is the Taipei Municipal Stadium located in Taipei, Taiwan. The government-owned stadium started out as a track and field events stadium when it was originally built in 1956 then turned into a multi-purpose stadium after the 2009 reconstruction.

With a total capacity of 20,000 people and a net worth $423 million, the Taipei Municipal Stadium stands out as one of the most expensive stadiums in Asia.

9) Incheon Asiad Main Stadium – $429 Million (South Korea)

The amazing looking Incheon Asiad Main Stadium of South Korea comes in at number 9 on our Most expensive stadiums in Asia list. The Incheon stadium has a total capacity of 30,000 people although it was was designed to accommodate 60,000 people at the start of the project but was later changed after the Asian games in 2014.

The stadium has a subsidiary field, tennis court and cricket ground for various sports hosted in it making it worth $429 million.

8) Seoul Olympic Stadium – $430 Million (South Korea)

Despite the competition from the Incheon stadium, the Seoul Olympic beats its rival not only with capacity but its gorgeous design too. The Seoul Olympic also known as the Jamsil Olympic stadium was built in 1986 mainly for the 1988 summer Olympics with 69,950 seats and cost $430 million to build. The amazing looking stadium is the centerpiece of the Seoul Complex Sports in Songpa District.

7) Beijing National Stadium – $463 Million (China)

One of the most amazing looking national stadiums worldwide, the Beijing National stadium also known as the birds nest because of its remarkable design. The stadium has a capacity 80,000 seats and was initial built for the 2008 Summer Olympics but is now used for football games. The Birds nest hosted various athletic events including the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics and Summer Paralympics, 2009 super coppa Italiana final in 2011. It was constructed in 1998 and hosted a total of 4 games in the 2002 FIFA World Cup of which was the final of Brazil against Germany and has also been selected for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

The Basra Sports City Stadium is a government-owned stadium in Iraq. It was built in 4 years from 2009-2013 and designed to accommodate 65,000 people. $550 million was how much it cost to build this amazing stadium by the construction contractor Abdullah Al-Jaburi. The stadium was built for all sports event and also has VIP lounges, Restaurants and a large parking made for major events which are yet to come.
