This season has been full of surprises and this article itself is full of surprises so expect to be amazed at the end of the list. Most of you are probably thinking of last seasons player of the year in the Premier League, N’Golo Kante as being the top dog on the list . Tottenham Hotspurs Harry Kane and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah have also been in fine form lately but how sure are you he is part of this ten man shortlist? Well! There is only one way to find out and that’s by reading this article until the last slide.

So here we will look at one player for each of the ten Premier League teams we have chosen who are the most important for their club.

Here is the list on the Top 10 Premier League Team’s Most Undroppable Player

10. Leicester City- Riyad Mahrez

In tenth place is the Algerian international footballer who is currently with Leicester City. The Foxe have improved this season under new manager Claude Puel. Jamie Vardy is back to his goal scoring best and more importantly their main man Riyad Mahrez is back to his best. Two seasons ago,  Leicester won the Premier League with Mahrez taking the PFA player of the year award after scoring 17 goals. This season Mahrez has gotten back to his old ways with 10 goals so far and eight assists after a disappointing season last season. That is why Mahrez is Leicester City’s most undroppable player.

9. Everton-Seamus Coleman

Okay so Seamus Coleman has been injured for most of this season after that horror tackle playing Ireland which broke his leg. But Everton have been sorely missing him, and it shows as since he’s come back from injury he’s helped Everton a lot. From five appearances, he has made one assist, made an average of 1.6 interceptions and an average of 2.6 successful dribbles per game (Whoscored). Coleman provides width and attacking threat as well as defensive solidity so the Toffees must be glad he’s finally back.

8. Watford– Abdoulaye Doucoure

One of the breakout stars of this season is Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure. He has been a surprising hit as he was virtually unknown outside of Watford circles. Doucoure joined Watford in 2016 for an undisclosed fee from Rennes in France, but he went on loan to Granada in the La Liga for a season. After coming back to Watford, he has made 30 appearances for the Hornets, and has scored seven goals and made two assists in the Premier League. He’s been solid defensively too after making an average of 2.2 tackles per game and 1.5 interceptions. Doucoure is one of my Premier League Team’s Most Undroppable Player in 2017/18.

7. West Ham United- Marko Arnautovic

Taking the seventh spot on the list is West Ham United attacker Marko Arnautovic. While he didn’t have a good start to this season after moving from Stoke City, eventually he came good after David Moyes arrived and played him up front instead of on the wing. Arnautovic has now scored seven goals and made three assists and looks undroppable at the moment. He has formed a fine partnership up front with Manuel Lanzini.

6. Arsenal- Laurent Koscielny

In sixth place is the Gunners centre-back Laurent Koscielny. The French defender has been a rock in Arsenal’s defence for years now and is a great leader within the squad. The club captain has always been the most consistent player for the Gunners and despite their lack of success in recent years, Koscielny is undroppable.

5. Tottenham Hotspurs- Harry Kane

Coming in at fifth place is Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane . The striker had an outstanding season during the 2017/18 season managing to score 24 Premier League goals. The Englishman has been the golden boot winner for the past two seasons in the Premier League and could be in the race to win the his third this season, although he has serious competition from Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah. Harry Kane has managed to bag quite a few this season although he started at a slow note. For some curious reason, Harry Kane always has a slow start, particularly in August, but then catches up later on in the season.

4. Liverpool-Mohamed Salah

Liverpool new signing Mohamed Salah has been unstoppable this season. After making his move from Roma, he has scored 28 goals for the Reds making him the Premier League’s leading goalscorer. 28 goals for a striker is impressive, but for a winger? Ridiculous! Salah has been the buy of the season and Chelsea FC must be kicking themselves for letting him go to Roma for such a small fee (£12m). Salah is now being linked to Real Madrid. And why is he only fourth on this list you ask? Well Liverpool have a number of attacking players that score goals and have been able to win without Salah this season. So while he’s one of the best players in the Premier League, he’s not actually the most undroppable player in my opinion as there are others that are more important for their club.

3. Chelsea-N’Golo Kante

As a Chelsea fan, I debated with myself whether to put Eden Hazard or N’Golo Kante. Obviously both players are very important for the club but in the end I went with Kante. Why? Because you never see Kante substituted off in games like Eden Hazard regularly is. N’Golo Kante is just so important for the team. He tackles, he sets up the the plays, he breaks up opposition possession, and protects the back four, Quite simply he runs the whole game, covers the entire pitch, and is pretty much two players in one. That is why N’Golo Kante is third in the Top 10 Premier League Team’s Most Undroppable Player.

2. Manchester United- David De Gea

Manchester United’s best player this season is their goalkeeper David De Gea. I’ll let you deduce what that says about the team’s midfield and attacking prowess. But it’s true, David De Gea has been absolutely amazing this season. Some of his saves are just world class. Think back to the game earlier this season against Arsenal where De Gea made a Premier League record 14 saves. David De Gea is simply undroppable and that is why he is second on my list of the Top 10 Premier League Team’s Most Undroppable Player.

1. Manchester City- Kevin De Bruyne

One of the candidates of PFA player of the season, along with Salah and Kane is Manchester City’s maestro Kevin De Bruyne. The Belgian is probably one of the best passers of the ball ever in the Premier League. His vision to set up plays and attacks is world class and some of the passes he makes are absolutely stunning. You never know what De Bruyne is going to do next as he could just pick a pass that slices through the opposition defence or put in an inch perfect cross to a strikers head.  His 14 assists this season makes him the highest assist maker in the Premier League and he’s also added goals to his repertoire too with seven goals. That is why Kevin De Bruyne is number one on my list of the Top 10 Premier League Team’s Most Undroppable Player.
