Fernando Torres’ boyhood club Atletico Madrid could make a move to bring him back to the club in the summer. Manager Diego Simeone is looking at Torres, who played for the club between 2001-07, and was made captain while just a teenager.
In 2007, Torres made a mega money move to Liverpool, and impressed everyone, before moving to his current club Chelsea, where his career has taken several setbacks. Chelsea are now prepared to offload the Spaniard and Atletico are interested in a reunion.
Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, who has scored over 30 goals for the club this season, has in recent transfer windows been heavily linked with Chelsea, which initiates rumours that a swap deal could be on the cards in the summer.
