The Chelsea striker has been heavily linked with a move away from the club before the start of the new season after failing to live up to his £50m pricetag.
Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in re-signing the Spaniard, who spent six years with the capital club, for around £13m.
The 30 year-old joined Chelsea from Liverpool in 2011 for a record British transfer fee of £50m and has since failed to live up to expectations.
In 174 appearances for the Blues, Torres has only scored 45 goals, which isn’t a statistic many Chelsea fans would have wanted to see however despite all this, the club have refused to sell Torres this summer.
According to reports, manager Jose Mourinho has ruled out cashing in on Torres this summer, and has insisted that he does have a future with the London club.
