The 28 year old Ivory Coast international is ready to move back to the Premier League after Spurs boss Tim Sherwood declared his interest in the striker.
Kalou joined Chelsea from Dutch side Feyenoord in 2006 and spent six seasons at Stamford Bridge, before leaving for France on a Bosman after their European Cup Final triumph in 2012.
Lille have previously said they do not want to sell their star player who is set to be part of the Ivory Coast squad that travels to the World Cup in Brazil this summer.
With a fee still to be agreed Kalou has some time to decide if he wants another crack at life in England.
