Tottenham look favourite to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino despite strong interest from other clubs including Liverpool.
West Brom have previously denied any reports that they would sell their star striker, who has scored 13 goals in 24 appearances during this campaign, but it now seems as though new gaffer Tony Pulis would consider selling him to give him access to funds to allow him to buy in new players.
Also reported was the possibility of the Baggies selling Berahino to Spurs if they part with Townsend and Lennon who have become surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane.
Townsend and Lennon would give West Brom the power and pace they need down the wings to try and keep themselves out of the relgation zone.
This deal would seem to be more favourable for Pulis who needs players rather than cash to keep West Brom in the Premier League.
