Tottenham Hotspur get their Europa League campaign underway tonight against Tromso and this is what Andre Villas-Boas has had to say before the game.
“We have a squad that’s strong in depth so it allows us to give some opportunities to players that have trained well. The squad still looks strong and the main focus is to get the three points we need for a good start.
“(Erik Lamela) trained for consecutive days for us and it was important for his link up with his colleagues. Most Spurs fans know him from what he did at Roma.
“We’ve been getting some good results. Ideally it’s always important to start well, we want to get our focus right and get three points.”
