Tottenham Hotspur are set to beat Liverpool to the £10 million signing of Swansea City fullback Ben Davies, according to The Telegraph.
Mauricio Pochettino is looking to tie up the deal for the Welshman swiftly, as he looks to make his first signing of his reign in charge, having been appointed in late May.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is considering an improved offer for the Swansea starlet, who impressed at the South Wales outfit last season, after breaking through into the Swans first team.
Davies is said to be aware of Liverpool’s interest, but the lure of London maybe too much to turn down.
The Wales international made 33 appearances for Swansea last season, scoring two goals from his defensive position.
