The former Crystal Palace star was signed by United in January 2013, but was loaned back to the club for the remainder of last season. And after playing just 28 minutes of Premier League football for United, the 21-year-old was sent to Cardiff on a 6 month loan spell.

Under pressure Moyes is planning a summer spending spree, and is happy for Zaha to be sold, as he has no intentions to use the skilful winger. back in October, the Scot spoke of how the youngster was still adapting to England’s top flight: “It is important Wilf gets to see the level of the training here, the level of the players and the quality they have got. He is getting better which we are pleased about.” said Moyes.

But it appears Zaha won’t be able to take part in United’s training anymore, as Moyes quickly prepares for United’s new season without the temporary Cardiff attacker.

In February, Zaha uploaded an image to Instagram of himself and Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær, with the caption: “nothing like someone who believes in you.” The youngster later went on to claim it was not in reference to David Moyes, before then deleting the image.
