Manchester United could lose six players on free transfers at the end of the season.

James Wilson, Tyler Blackett, Paddy McNair, Jesse Lingard, Reece James and Andreas Perreira are all out of contrat in the summer of 2015, with United facing a battle to keep them.

Wilson, Blackett and McNair have all enjoyed prolonged stints in the first eleven, with winger Jesse Lingard, aged 22. starting the season in Van Gaal’s side, before suffering a knee injury which kept him sidelined.

Defender Reece James is also in line for a proposed start, at the ahe of 21.

The Red Devils, who currently lie third in the Premier League, face a tough ask to convince the six players to sign new deals.
