Louis van Gaal has admitted that he would be open and willing to let Angel di Maria leave Old Trafford in the summer if the super star wants to.
Di Maria, who started his Manchester United career well, has since lost his way with the team which has left people questioning his £59.7million pound price tag
Also with the recent break in at his home it has been suggested that Angel is unsettled in England and will request a move away after just one season.
Van Gaal was asked about Di Maria on whether he would allow him to leave on compassionate grounds and Louis said this;
“I am always like that. When you see my history, that’s part of my philosophy.
“A player is not just a man who kicks the ball from A to B.
“His environment is influencing him.
“I shall always be open (to his sale) but I know that the commercial interests of the club and we have to respect that.
“You cannot give a lot of money for a player and next season put him out of your selection.
