Current Netherlands coach, Louis Van Gaal, is expected to sign a £25 million deal at Manchester United as early as this week.
The 62 year-old is ready to agree a three-year deal and will begin management immediately after the World Cup. It is said that the manager will bring his own back-room staff in to the club, but is expected to keep current interim manager, Ryan Giggs as part of the coaching team.
Van Gaal is very keen to sign a deal as soon as possible so he can focus on his Netherlands squad for Brazil, with their pre-tournament get together coming up very soon. With Van-Gaal set to sign, deals for Southamptons Luke Shaw, Porto’s Eliaquim Mangala, Bayern Munich’s Toni Kroos and Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus are expected to be already well under-way.
