Southampton winger Adam Lallana looks set to leave the club this summer, and is ready to snub both Manchester United and Chelsea in order to make a move to Liverpool happen.
The move could be the first part of Liverpool’s ‘Champions League jigsaw puzzle’ as Lallana seems to have his heart set on a move to Anfield. Chelsea and Man United have both targeted the England midfielder, with United looking set to land him for a while now, however Brendan Rodgers is reportedly ready to offer Southampton £20million for the player, and could offer Lallana himself almost double his current £35,000 per week wages.
The winger has said nothing public about his desire to switch clubs this summer, but interest is always going to be high when you are set for a place on the plane to the World Cup. He has been a key player for Southampton in their good form this season, leaving them a comfortable 8th in the table.
