Gyokeres Agent hints at Premier League move amid Chelsea and Arsenal links

Viktor Gyokeres’ agent has hinted at a future move to the Premier League, amid growing rumors linking the Swedish striker with Chelsea. With the summer transfer window nearing, Gyokeres has emerged as a top target for the Blues as they want to shore up their striking lineup.

In the wake of the Chelsea’s poor season, Mauricio Pochettino’s team is looking for reinforcements to reinvigorate their forward line. Gyokeres, who has impressed with his goal-scoring prowess at Sporting Lisbon, has caused interest from several big clubs.

Discussing which teams could come in for Viktor, his agent Hasan Cetinkaya recently told Record:

“I won’t speculate about names of clubs but I can say that there is a big possibility that they will be Premier League clubs, because of course, they are the ones who have financial conditions to sign Viktor at the moment.

“There are also Italian clubs interested, of course. But we will see, it’s difficult for me to speculate around that. We are not at that stage yet. Viktor’s priority at the moment is to win the Portuguese league and cup.

“He only has that on his mind because he really wants to give supporters these titles. Sporting fans have been crazy and incredible with him. There is so much love for him, I had never seen anything like it.”

According to Football Transfers, Chelsea’s interest in the 25-year-old is increasing, along with speculation about a potential player swap with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen. However, Gyokeres’ agent’s recent remarks suggest that there are more of bidders, implying a potential move to the Premier League.

While Chelsea remains interested in signing Gyokeres, competition from rivals, particularly Arsenal, looms huge. The Gunners’ current success and position as table tops make them an appealing proposition for the Swedish forward.

As talks continue in the coming months, the Premier League scene may see a tug-of-war for Gyokeres’ signature, with both Chelsea and Arsenal fighting for his services in what promises to be an exciting transfer drama.
