Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has returned to first-team training for the first time in six weeks after recovering from a thigh injury.
The Belgium hasn’t featured for City since their 3-1 victory against Everton back in October, but he made his return to training today and is on his road to a full recovery.
There has not been a return date set for Kompany as of yet, but it will be a huge boost for Manuel Pellegrini as he is running low on defensive cover due to his captain’s thigh problems.
