- Moyes and the rest of the Man Utd squad are currently on a summer break but the new manager will hope that Rooney returns wanting to wear the United jersey next season.
- Rooney has two years left on his contract with United and if United wants to get cash for currency they should sell him now if Rooney wont sign a new contract.
- Both Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger are ready to offer Rooney contracts at Chelsea and Arsenal with Wenger describing Rooney as: “A player anyone would want and impossible to reject.”
