Sami Khedira has reportedly agreed a deal to move to Arsenal in January.
The German Real Madrid star, 28. was a target for Arsene Wenger during the summer, but the deal broke down due to personal terms.
The issues appeared to have been ironed out however as an agreement has been reached between player and club which satisfies both parties, according to Metro.
All that remains is for Arsenal to agree a fee with Real Madrid for the transfer, which should be straightforward as Madrid are reportedly keen to sell.
Wenger may well see Khedira as the missing piece in his midfield, and would provide some much needed bite to compliment the club’s flair players.
