West Bromwich Albion have signed Georgios Samaras on a free transfer, reports the BBC.
Samaras, aged 29 joins Albion on a free transfer on a two year deal, having been released from Celtic this summer.
West Brom manager Alan Irvine stated his delight at the signing, and stated, “We’ve signed a player with vast experience,”He has played a lot of football at the highest levels and he thrives on the big occasion.”
The Greek international becomes West Brom’s ninth summer signing.
