West Bromwich Squad new player in and out 2020/21. Here is the West Bromwich Squad 2020/21 (First Team)
West Bromwich Albion is an English professional football club based in West Midlands, England. They currently play in the Championship, the second tier of English football after being relegated from the Premier League in 2017. They spent 8 seasons in the top-flight since last getting relegated in 2009. In August 2016, it was revealed that the club had been sold to a Chinese investment group headed up by Lai Guochuan, and John Williams had replaced long term owner Jeremy Peace as the chairman.
West Brom Football Club’s nicknames are The Baggies. The meaning of this still causes debate among West Brom supporters today. No one knows for sure why their nickname is The Baggies.
The rivals of West Brom are other local midlands sides such as Birmingham City, Aston Villa, and Wolverhampton Wanderers. West Brom used to pride themselves on saying that they were doing better than all of their rivals but 2 of them are currently playing in the Premier League
Their home ground is known as The Hawthorns. They have been playing at this stadium since 1883, although it has been redeveloped many times over the years. It is very old ground and seats only 21,800, which is relatively small for a Premier League side. Expansion plans have been put off due to the club’s inability to stay in the top-flight.
