Armando Broja linked with an exit this January.

The Albanian international tore a cruciate ligament in his right knee during a friendly against Aston Villa in Abu Dhabi in December.

He returned in a game against Fulham in October and scored his first goal of the season.

The Chelsea striker extended his contract last season until the summer of 2028 but has been heavily linked with a departure this winter.

Summer signing Nicolas Jackson is currently the only natural striker in the Chelsea lineup as Broja has struggled to maintain fitness this season.

Broja was heavily linked with West Ham, AC Milan and some other clubs in the summer but manager Mauricio Pochettino was keen to work with the Albanian international.

The Hammers could reignite their interest in January as they are currently short of attacking options.

Chelsea are expected to demand in excess of ÂŁ30million for the academy graduate as the player is determined to prove himself in the Premier League.

Broja finds himself behind Nicolas Jackson in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and he would struggle for minutes when Christopher Nkunku returns from injury after the international break.

The 22-year-old would comfortably break into the first-team squad at West Ham given the striker situation at the club.
