Hammers could beat Liverpool to United flop
It’s thought that West Ham are going to beat Liverpool to the signing of Manchester United flop Memphis Depay.
Depay has endured a difficult debut season at Old Trafford since joining for £25million from PSV last summer, the 22-year-old has scored just seven goals in 47 appearances.
With United are believed to be prepared to accept a cut price deal for the player, Liverpool had been touted as a possible destination for the Dutch international.
But it is now thought that West Ham are the new front runners, with the London club still fighting to qualify for European football next season, manager Slaven Bilic is keen to strengthen his squad.
Depay is also reportedly a target for AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain.
