According to reports from Sky Sports Italia, Wolverhampton Wanderers are planning an audacious swoop for Juventus pass master Sami Khedira.

The English outfit finished seventh in the Premier League last season, landing a qualification to the Europa League in this campaign. As a result, the club are keen to bolster their squad and are eyeing a move for the 32-year-old.

Khedira is reportedly out of Maurizio Sarri’s plans for this season. His playing time is also set to be limited with the arrivals of Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabio from Arsenal and Paris Saint Germain respectively.

The World Cup winner came through the youth ranks at Stuttgart before earning a move to Real Madrid in 2010. He joined Juventus in 2015 on a free transfer.

However, the German is said to prefer a move to the Bundesliga, although he won’t say no to a Premier League switch.

As per reports, Bianconeri director Fabricio Partici met the Wolves officials on Wednesday to hold discussions about a possible deal. Khedira signed a new deal in 2018 which is set to expire in 2021.
