The midfielder’s future at Manchester City is still undecided

Yaya Toure’s agent has demanded to speak with Manchester City to clarify the player’s future at the Etihad.

The Ivorian has been linked with a move to Inter Milan, despite having two years remaining on his current contract at City.

Inter are said to be keen on signing the 31 year old, which would reunite him with former boss Roberto Mancini, who bought Toure to Manchester in 2010.

There is set to be a mass summer exit from the Etihad, with Toure being one of them, following a bitterly disappointing season for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

Yaya has come nowhere near the form that helped City lift the Premier League title a year ago. He scored a staggering 20 goals in 35 league games last season, but he has registered just 8 in 2014/15.

His representative Dimitri Seluk had this to say on the situation: “We have had different offers for Yaya but we must speak to Manchester City.

“People think he will stay because of money but we don’t care about money. If Man City don’t want him – no problem.

“I want someone to say that they want Yaya to stay at Manchester City. Yaya is a legend at the club. All the supporters like him, he has helped them make history.”
