21-year-old Azerbaijan-born student Vugar Huseynzade has managed to land himself the job at Azerbaijani Premier League club FK Baku’s ‘A’ side after guiding his FOOTBALL MANAGER CLUB to glory.
Vugar was originally hired in February 2012 as the clubs technical advisor , after the chairman was impressed with the 21 year old’s football knowledge he applied when playing the computer game Football Manager.
8 months into his new role and the club were still managerless after former boss Kamran Ismayilov had resigned from his post almost two years before , Huseynzade was handed the managerial role , despite no previous coaching experience.
“I’ve always wanted to work in football and have played Football Manager since 2002,” Huseynzade told Scandinavian newspaper Aftonbladet.
