Zlatan Ibrahimovic speaks out about Arsenal rumours


Zlatan Ibrahimovic has addressed rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal

The Swede’s contract at current club Paris Saint-Germain expires this summer and he is set to leave France at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old hasn’t yet decided where he will be heading, but The Independent believe Arsenal is an option he may be interested in.

Talking to CNN, Ibrahimovic said: “Arsenal? I think there is a lot of talk from today until the European [Championships in France] – there will be a lot of talks.”

The Premier League is the only domestic competition Ibrahimovic is the only major European division he is still to play in.

However, the Swedish international has revealed that he is not desperate to play in England’s top flight.

“I don’t need to play in the Premier League,” He continued.

“I was close two times. Arsenal one time. City one time. But it never happened.”

There are some doubts as to whether the footballing world will ever see the sensational, record-breaking forward play in the Premier League, but it isn’t completely uncertain.
