The Cheltenham Festival is annually held in March. So, the Cheltenham Festival is due to be held between the 14th and 17th of March at Cheltenham Racecourse in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Across the four days of high-octane racing, fans are treated to at least one Championship race each day. On the first day, we see the Unibet Champion Hurdle and on the final day, the Cheltenham Gold Cup. All 28 races give something memorable with bets and beer mugs flying across the crowd left and right.

Over 500 horses run in the Cheltenham Festival and compete for over ÂŁ6.12 million in prize money. Only the Grand National ranks higher in terms of prestige and financial glamour in the jump racing calendar. What lies ahead is four days of high drama, exhilaration and money being lost and won. Cheltenham Festival 2022 Winners

The COVID-19 pandemic had brought on a lot of restrictions for this festival last year. It went ahead in line with Government guidelines from 15th to 18th March.

The 2023 Cheltenham Gold Cup was won by A Plus Tard, with jockey R Blackmore. Willie Henry De Bromhead was the trainer who won last year’s title. 2021’s winner Minella Indo finished second.
