Reasons For Liverpool vs Leicester City Predictions & Betting Tips

Liverpool are the favourites to win this match with odds of 1.28 with bet365, with visitors Leicester City priced at 9.50 with bet365 to do take what would be a surprise three points at Anfield.

It’s never easy to predict a result whenever Liverpool are involved, but the Reds are still unbeaten at home and playing some great football at the moment.

That being said, they have drawn 5 of their 10 matches at Anfield, but it’s still hard to back against them when their front four of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho are in the form that they are.

On Boxing Day they were 5-0 winners over Swansea, whereas Leicester threw away a 1-0 lead to eventually lose away at Watford. They started well under new manager Claude Puel, but have seen their form start to dip in recent weeks.

We don’t think it will be quite as comprehensive for the Reds this time out, but a 2-0 Liverpool win could be good value at 8.50 with bet365.

Top scorer Mo Salah didn’t score against the Swans, so will be keen to get on the scoresheet here. Any of the front four could be a good bet, but we’re backing the Egyptian to score first at 4.00 with Unibet.

Liverpool vs Leicester City Form

Liverpool are back in action against Leicester City on Saturday, and will be looking to build on their 5-0 Boxing Day win over Swansea with another three points. The Foxes started well under new manager Claude Puel, but are now three matches without a win.

Liverpool Form

The Reds have not lost since October, and are particularly strong at home. They are unbeaten at Anfield this season and have conceded just three times all season (compared to 20 goals conceded away). Tuesday’s win puts them fourth in the league table.

Leicester City Form

Leicester were beaten at Watford on Boxing Day, who came from behind to defeat the Foxes 2-1. They still lie in respectable 8th position under Claude Puel, but will want to get back to winning ways and rediscover their form of a few weeks ago.

Liverpool vs Leicester City Head To Head (H2H)

Leicester City and Liverpool have played 41 times before, with their H2H perhaps more even than some would expect. Liverpool have the edge with 46 wins, but Leicester have won 39 times themselves including their last meeting in the EFL Cup earlier in the season.
