The 2019 ATP Tennis calendar ends as usual with the Davis Cup final at the end of November. This year the final is between France and Belgium, and will be played on a hard court at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, Villeneuve d’Ascq, France.

British Eurosport will show the Davis Cup final live on TV in the United Kingdom. The dates for the final are set for November 24-26.

It will be an unmissable clash between two of the most successful nations in Tennis history. We’re expecting players such as Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Lucas Pouille and David Goffin all to take part.

Davis Cup 2018

The draw has already been made for the first round of the Davis Cup 2018 World Group. Great Britain and Andy Murray start with a tough tie away to Spain and Rafael Nadal in Madrid. Meanwhile, the USA will host Serbia and a fit again Novak Djokovic. First round matches will take place from February 2-4.

It was announced recently that a new format will be trialled for the Davis Cup in 2018. Ties will now be played over two days instead of three, with best of three set matches rather than five. Team szes will also increase from 4 players to 5. However, this will only apply to the lower groups for now.
