Liverpool have shown strong interest in the former Arsenal star, who has fallen out of favour at Barcelona.
And despite interest from AC Milan and Tottenham, it appears Anfield is Song’s desired destination and, according to the Mirror, is waiting for a firm offer from Brendan Rodgers.
The midfielder joined Barca in 2012 following a seven-year spell with the Gunners, and is now keen on a move back to the Premier League.
However, it remains unclear whether Rodgers is still in the market for more additions, having tied up a deal for Mario Balotelli earlier this week.
