Reports are claiming today that Blues boss Antonio Conte is now delaying the transfer of Kenedy to Newcastle United
Antonio Conte apparently has concerns over his squad depth as the club are failing to get transfers in.
Kenedy’s future with the Blues looks unsure after he was sent home from their pre-season tour this summer for an offensive Instagram post about China.
Since then a deal to send him to Newcastle was supposed to happen, however, it seems if reports are to be believed, Conte has put a halt on things.
According to Goal, Kenedy’s move to Newcastle will possibly still go through, but Conte has just stalled the deal for the time being as they work on getting new players in.
Conte wants as many as four more signings before the transfer deadline, with the likes of Danny Drinkwater and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the list.
