Agent confirms he’s in talks with Premier League champions
Chelsea are holding formal talks with Arsenal target Kelechi Nwakali, according to his agent.
The 17-year-old is making a lot of noise in Africa and was even named as the Most Valuable Player at this Autumn’s FIFA Under 17 World Cup.
After his stand-out performances during the World Cup, Nwakali agreed to join the same company that represent Real Madrid star Gareth Bale, and they’ve already confirmed they’re in talks with three clubs, including Chelsea.
In a recent interview, Nwakali confirmed that he loves Arsenal and would love to play for them, but it’s their London rivals who are in pole position to land him.
The teenager’s agent has confirmed they’ve contacted Arsenal, but as of yet, they’ve had no response.

‘We are in contact with Chelsea, Udinese and Olympiacos,’ Klay Ekeocha told allnigeriasoccer.com.
‘Udinese made a ridiculous offer of €800,000 for the Most Valuable Player of the FIFA Under 17 World Cup.
‘We are working hard for the player, his family and academy. Manchester City and West Ham are no longer involved because of work permit issues.
‘We got in touch with Arsenal and there’s no feedback yet.’
